Blackburn reserves $1 million worth of ad time on Fox News

Republican Rep. Marsha Blackburn’s U.S. Senate campaign has reserved $1 million worth of ad time on Fox News between April 27 and the primary election on Aug. 2.

Campaign adviser Ward Baker says in a memo that it was key to reserve the premium statewide inventory during the 14-week ad run now because of the crowded field of candidates in the governor’s race and various congressional contests will drive up demand for limited airtime.

Blackburn faces former U.S. Rep. Stephen Fincher in the GOP primary to succeed Republican Sen. Bob Corker, who is retiring. Former Gov. Phil Bredesen is running for the Democratic nomination.

The Blackburn campaign memo follows below:

  • James White says:

Marsha Blackburn was my congressman until they redistricted my county out. She votes Deep State and is not my choice for Senator. She voted for FISA !

    • Stuart I. Anderson says:

Marsha’s eight year Heritage Action average score is 83% and she seeks to replace Corker whose average score is 63%, and her primary opponent is Fincher whose average score is 71%. When she wins the primary she will be running against someone who wants to give charming Chuck Schumer control of the U. S. Senate.

Marsha may not be perfect James, but she sure is good. Now you’re not going to let your fantasies about the perfect stand in the way of your voting for good are you?
